Ronin Designs Ltd. is a small company based in South Wales, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Partners Simon & Kay started the business in 1997, producing handmade greetings cards using their own designs. The range of cards grew over the next few years and as well as in the U.K. were sold in the U.S.A., Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, France, Norway, Sweden & Ireland. By specialising in acetate-panelled cards Ronin has maintained a distinctive look in the competitive greetings card market.

After almost ten years of designing & producing cards, in 2006 Simon & Kay felt the need to push themselves further creatively. The idea for a jewellery range was born. The choice to use semi-precious gemstones was an easy creative decision to make - there is a fascinating diversity of colours, patterns & textures within these wonders of the natural world. Within a short time a very loyal customer base developed for the jewellery range & the Company felt rejuvenated by this change of direction.

The aim for 2008 is to continue developing the jewellery range - alongside the greetings cards - & bring out new looks three times during the year.
